The WindEurope Annual Event brings together the people shaping the future of wind energy. This year, Whiffle is back to show how high-fidelity wind modelling improves project accuracy and reliability.
📍 Find us at Stand 10-C20.
Are you attending? Come meet the Whiffle team at our booth!

What’s happening at Whiffle booth?
✅ Live demos of Whiffle Wind & Whiffle Atlas
Explore our powerful, user-friendly tools for wind resource assessment:
- Whiffle Wind delivers high-resolution wind resource grids and time-series data for detailed analysis in complex terrain and offshore environments.
- Whiffle Atlas, our latest addition, provides a validated, precomputed mesoscale dataset with 21-year hourly wind time series at 2 km resolution, across 10 heights (2–500 m).
Together, they form a seamless modelling chain, from large-scale atmospheric data to detailed microscale flow modelling, strengthening every stage of your wind resource assessment.
✅ Free trial access
Sign up directly at our booth for exclusive free trials of both Whiffle Wind and Whiffle Atlas, and start running simulations for your own projects.
🎧 Silent Disco Tech Talks (Back by popular demand!)
We are bringing back our silent disco-style tech talks, an interactive way to dive into advanced modelling topics right at the booth.
Hosted by Bob Meijer, Business Development Advisor at Whiffle
Topic: Offshore scenario planning – Do we get new neighbours?
As offshore wind clusters expand, understanding the impact of neighboring wind farms becomes increasingly complex and traditionally expensive and time-consuming to model. Or is it?
Discover how flexible, easy-to-use tools allow you to switch wind farms on and off and simulate their impact on energy yield, with year-by-year precision in a rapidly evolving offshore landscape.
🕒 20-minute sessions:

Conference highlight
Don’t miss our contribution to the conference programme:
“Bridging scales: explicit forest representation for wind resource modelling” presented by our R&D expert, Ardjan Sturm, in collaboration with Ørsted.
This work demonstrates how nested LES connects large-scale weather patterns to canopy-resolving flow, making detailed forest modelling practical and usable in real-world wind projects.
📍 Session: Wind and climate: smarter models, better data
🗓 Wednesday, 22 April | 16:30–17:15
Join us at the VindAI booth
We’re also part of a VindAI booth activation session on April 21 at 14:00 at 📍 Booth 9-D95.
Robin Vermeij, Senior Data Analyst at Whiffle, will present:
“How wind data shapes early-stage wind project decisions”
In this interactive session, we’ll explore how Whiffle’s WRGs are used within the vind.ai workflow, and what that means for project outcomes. We’ll also take a closer look at how this data is generated using real-weather LES simulations, and share a sneak peek of what’s next: an upcoming integration with Whiffle Atlas.
